Gori Amir - Tomb Amir Temur - Mausoleum Gori Amir belongs to the best samples of architecture of the medieval East and takes a special place among monuments of epoch Temur. The beginning was necessary to construction of the mausoleum Amir Temur in the autumn of 1404. Originally it intended for burial of the favourite grandson and successor Temur Muhammad Sultan which has dyed in Iran in 1403. The place for burial of prince has been chosen near to medrese Muhammada Sultana, built by it still during lifetime of opposite each other. Their facades left in a court yard with four ayvan, on corners minarets towered, and the input in a court yard has been issued by a portal with a mosaic pattern. The unknown architect as though has specially left between medrese and xanaka a place for the mausoleum. Today, looking at the walls which have been laid out by restorers on height of human growth on the ancient bases, it is possible to present personally a lay-out of a court yard and medrese. Two minarets are restored also.

The unique building of mausoleum Gori Amir, as well as other Samarkand constructions of epoch Temur, are included by UNESCO in the list of the world heritage.
