Tashkent Amir Temur Square - Temur Square Tamerlane, Temur The GreatAmir Temur, Temur Lung, in his memory the Majestic Square is Located in the Heart of the Tashkent city. Amir Temur Square had its History, It was called as Kaufman Square, Then it was Renamed and was Known as Karl Marks Square But after the Independence in 1991 Amir Temur Square was renamed after Amir TEMUR THe Great Uzbek Soldier, Warior, Leader, and Ruler. In the Centre of the Square is the majestic Statute of Amir Temur on the Horse, Square is covered with Green Trees, Pavements are decortaed with Flowers, The Statute faces the Independence Square and between the two squares is Located Broadway. During Summers the whole day local people are sitting and relaxing. A Visitor would find many groups of Old people playing CHESS. Square has beautiful fountains. Amir Temur Metro station is located below the square. There is no Entrance fee. Visitors can have individual Photos, Group Photo in Front of Amir Temur Majestic Statute. Next to Amir Temur Square is located Amir Temur Museum, Hotel Uzbekistan, Broadway Tashkent, Khokimiyat Tashkent, Clock Tower of Tashkent, Istanbul Cafe, Bahor Restaurant, A new Business Centre is being Constructed.
